HFCL Wins Order Worth Rs. 141 Cr. from BSNL

Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd. (HFCL) has secured an order worth Rs. 141 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for supply of Unlicensed Band Radios (UBRs) and associated services. This announcement, made through an HFCL press release dated 13th February 2024, clarifies that this order is part of a larger order from BSNL valued at Rs. 179 crore. The remaining order is expected to be released once the supply of the aforementioned UBRs is completed.

Scope of work in this project includes planning, Radio Frequency (RF) survey, delivery, and installation of 5GHz UBRs along with antennas, cables, and other allied accessories. Furthermore, HFCL will also execute testing and commissioning of these radios. Timeline for order execution is set at 18 months, followed by one-year warranty period and subsequent 9-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC).

This project will be executed across BSNL’s North, East, West, and South Zones as part of its ongoing 4G network upgrade initiatives.
