GP Petroleum to Invest Rs. 100 Cr. in Gujarat for Specialty Lubricants Plant

GP Petroleum Ltd. (GPPL) is part of the UAE based Gulf Petrochem Group and is a leading player in the Indian market for industrial and automotive lubricants. The company informed BSE that it will build a greenfield specialty lubricant processing facility in Saronda, Gujarat for lubricants, grease and while oil.

The proposed plant would be GPPL’s second blending facility in India, the first being in Vasai near Mumbai. The facility will manufacture specialty value added products which will be in addition to the current range of automotive and industrial lubricants.

The plant would require an investment of Rs. 100 Cr. and shall have an annual capacity of 3,00,000 Kilo Litres. This plant would enable GPPL to cater to a much larger market with a basket of products.
