Finolex Industries Appoints Mr. Rambabu Sanka as President

Finolex Industries has appointed Mr. Rambabu Sanka as President – Technical and Senior Management Personnel. According to Finolex Industries’ stock filing dated 3rd March 2025, Mr. Sanka’s expertise includes leadership in technical services, process optimization, debottlenecking, and the management of large-scale plant expansions and operations.

Mr. Sanka completed his Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University and he further pursued Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Mr. Rambabu has over 39 years of experience in the Chemical Engineering sector. He started his career with National Fertilizers Limited as Assistant Engineer in 1985 and worked there for over 6 years. Later in 1991, he joined Reliance and served as the company’s Shift Supervisor for over 7 years. Mr. Sanka joined Chemplast Sanmar Ltd. as General Manager in 2000 and worked there for more than four years. In 2004, he re-joined Reliance Industries Ltd. as Vice President and worked there for over 10 years.

Prior to his appointment at Finolex Industries, Mr. Rambabu Sanka was working as Executive Vice President (Technical Services) at TCI Sanmar Chemicals SAE, a chemical plant in Egypt.
