DICABS Wins 185 Cr. Conductors Order from Adani Energy Solutions

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL or DICABS) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs. 185 crore from Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) for the supply of aluminium alloy conductors for two transmission projects. The company shared this information in its press release dated 16th July 2026.
DICABS to Supply AL59 Conductors for AESL’s Transmission Projects
As per the order, DICABS will supply AL59 aluminium alloy conductors for AESL’s transmission projects located in Tuticorin (Thoothukudi), Tamil Nadu, and Pune, Maharashtra.
Scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, packing, dispatch, and transportation of the conductors. For the Tuticorin project, the company will supply 1,050 km of AL59 Moose Conductors, while the Pune project will receive 3,770 km of AL59 Zebra Conductors.
As per Diamond Power, the supply will commence in July 2026. For the Tuticorin project, DICABS will deliver 500 Km of AL59 Moose Conductors in July 2026, followed by another 500 Km in August 2026. For the Pune project, deliveries will begin with 570 Km in August 2026, followed by 500 Km each in September and October 2026, 700 Km in November 2026, and 500 Km each in December 2026, January 2027, and February 2027.
Diamond Power Strengthens Business with Adani Group
Diamond Power continues to strengthen its business relationship with the Adani Group, having secured several orders from its group companies over the past few months.
In December 2025, the company received a Rs. 747.64 crore order from Adani Green Energy Limited for the supply of cables. This was followed by cable supply orders worth Rs. 163.67 crore from Adani Group companies in April 2026. In May 2026, Diamond Power also received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited for cable supplies valued at Rs. 45.47 crore.
Commenting on the business partnership, Mr Kavish Shah, Vice President – Corporate Strategy at Diamond Power, said “the order builds on the Company’s existing relationship with AESL; supports visibility for FY27; and reflects the growth in India’s transmission capex cycle”.
