DICABS Secures Rs. 179.43 Cr Cable Order from Adani

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DICABS) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML) for supply of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) underground power cables. This order is for the Mumbai distribution network and is valued at Rs. 179.43 crore.

Under this order, DICABS will supply 33 KV & 11 KV MV cables along with associated 1.1 KV LV cables. The specialized MV cables are water-tree retardant (TR-XLPE), designed for Mumbai’s coastal and monsoon conditions.

This order will cover approximately 871 Kms of cables in total. The company will commence deliveries upon receiving manufacturing clearance, at approximately 50 Km per month.
