YoY Comparison of Delton Cables’ Financials: Q2 FY-25 vs. Q2 FY-24
Delton Cables’ revenue rose by 94.64% YoY to Rs. 174.92 crore during Q2 of FY-25 from Rs. 89.87 crore earned in Q2 of FY-24.
Q2 FY-25 PAT of the company jumped to Rs. 8.49 crore which is 2.55 times the company’s Q2 FY-24 PAT of Rs. 3.33 crore. In proportion with the PAT, Delton Cables’ Earnings Per Share also grew to Rs. 9.82 during Q2 of FY-25 from Rs. 3.86 during Q2 of FY-24.
Commenting on the company’s Q2 FY-25 financials, Mr. Vivek Gupta, Managing Director of Delton Cables said “Delton has posted yet another superlative financial performance for Q2 and first half of the current financial year. Sustained demands for Delton’s customised products for specific applications, coupled with our internal financial and operational efficiency improvements have led us to register high revenue and profit growth”.
QoQ Analysis of Delton Cables’ Financial Numbers: Q2 FY-25 vs. Q1 FY-25
Delton Cables’ revenue increased QoQ by 21.91% from Rs. 143.48 crore clocked for Q1 of FY-25. Further, the company’s Q2 FY-25 PAT was 2.81 times of its Q1 FY-25 PAT, which stood at Rs. 3.02 crore.
Railways Segment Contribute Most to Delton Cables’ Q2 FY-25 Revenue
In its press release dated 12th November 2024, the company stated that in Q2 of FY-25, Delton’s railways segment accounted for 46% of the total revenue, EPC segment contributed 44%, and the telecom/other segment made up 10% of the total revenue.
The company’s order book stood at Rs. 275 crore as on 30th September 2024.
Delton Cables to Expand its Cable Manufacturing Capacity
Delton Cables will be investing Rs. 10 crore for expanding its cable manufacturing capacity. The company mentioned in its press release that this expanded capacity is expected to cater to the emerging telecom sector demand of major telecom operators. This expansion is expected to be completed by March 2025.
Mr. Gupta said “The board has approved setting up of an additional manufacturing capacity to meet the growing demands from the telecom sector, the sector where we have a stronghold since Delton’s inception. We look forward to exciting times ahead”.
Delton Cables also mentioned that the company has commenced production at its newly constructed plant in Palwal, Haryana. The company had leased a property of 8,650.069 square meters for constructing this plant which manufactures cables for EPC projects and begun production in October 2024.
