Delta Electronics launches EV charging & Renewable Energy Solutions at Elecrama 2020

Delta Electronics India has launched its EV charging and renewable energy solutions range, at the Elecrama 2020 show held from 18 to 22 January, 2020 in Greater Noida, India.

Among other launches, Delta made the following launches in electrical segment:

EV (Electric Vehicle) Charging Solution

Delta Electronics AC MAX Charger

In this segment it displayed AC Chargers AC MAX suitable for both residential and commercial area applications. AC MAX is a lightweight, wall-mount EV charger with high power output of 22KW that reduces charging time by up to 70% when compared to common 7KW AC chargers.

Delta’s EV Charging Solutions comes with a Site Management System which enables real-time monitoring and control, fast and convenient charging process.

Renewable Energy Solutions

Delta Electronics String Inverter

At Elecrama 2020, Delta extended its PV (Photo-Voltaic) inverter portfolio with new 125 KW String Inverter which is a cloud-connected three-phase solution. Delta claims that it is a cost-efficient photovoltaic system for both ground-mounted and large commercial applications.

Delta’s major solar inverter installations include key metro and railway stations, airports, government, and educational institutions, industrial establishments, residential properties, large solar plants, and others, with installations at over 1.50 GW of solar plants pan India.

Smart Meter Connectivity Solutions

DeltaGrid Metering was also launched at the same show. The company claims that this platform will allow power discoms to collect real-time data on electricity demand, renewable energy generation, providing essential information to enable more efficient services, such as time-of-use electricity tariffs and demand response, and helping improve the electricity grid’s efficiency and reliability.

It is a solution that includes meters, field area networking (FAN) modules, data concentrator units (DCU) and head-end systems (HES). Compatible with major ANSI and IEC-type meters, this solution is for real-time collection, transmission, monitoring, and control of smart metering data via advanced NB-IoT, 3G/GPRS, LTE and RF Mesh technologies.
