Centre Plans 7 New Bullet Train Projects Worth Rs 10 lakh Cr
The Central Government is planning to invest Rs 10 lakh Crore to build seven new bullet train projects in India.
The new corridors being planned are Delhi-Ahmedabad, Delhi-Amritsar, Delhi-Varanasi, Chennai-Mysore, Mumbai-Hyderabad, Mumbai-Nagpur, and Varanasi-Howrah. Total distance of these seven corridors is 4,869 Km.
The Central Government has asked National High-Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) to prepare detailed project reports (DPRs) for these corridors.
