Cable Manufactures Showcasing at Elecrama 2020

The 14th Edition of the mega event Elecrama 2020 held from 18th to 22nd January at Greater Noida, was a platform showcasing the entire spectrum of electricity. The theme of the event was “Evolution of new electricity era”. Elecrama is organized annually by Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA).

The event covered all aspects of electricity such as Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Power Electronics, Renewable, Electric transportation, Power Storage, Electrical Automation etc.

Elecrama 2020 had 1,370 exhibitors and a footfall of over 3 lakh visitors (and exhibitors) over the five days. Apart from huge participation from Indian companies, more than 250 exhibitors were from other countries such as China, Germany, U.A.E, Korea and more.

The event showcased various segments of manufacturers including electrical / electronic components, transformers, energy meters, switch gears, machine manufactures, cable manufacturers and other exhibitors.

KEI's stand at Elecrama 2020

One of the leading wire and cable manufacturer along with Engineering and Construction (EPC) solutions provider KEI Industries Ltd. had showcased its wide range of cables at the event which included Extra-High Voltage (EHV), High Voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) power cables, rubber cables, solar cables, marine & offshore cables, fire survival cables, building cables and house wires.

Another renowned and leading manufacturers of Instrumentation, Signaling, Control, LV Power cables along with other Specialized cables Cords Cable Industries Ltd. had a noticeable presence at the show, with number of buyer-seller interactions and meetings happening at the stand.

Leading company in the Indian cables and electrical industry Polycab India Ltd. had a large presence also showcased its wide product range such as wires and cables: heavy duty cables, light duty cables, specialty cables, switches & switch-gears; consumer products like LED Lighting, Fans, geysers and automation.

Ducab stand at Elecrama 2020

The UAE based Dubai Cable Company– Ducab manufacturers of High, Medium and Low Voltage cables were also exhibiting at Elecrama 2020. Along with a display of its products, there were many interactions and meetings taking place at the stall. The company was being represented by Mr. Nimer Zubeidi, Transmission Sales Manager, Ducab and Mr. Ashish Chaturvedy, Marketing Manager, Ducab.

The South Korean cable manufacturer part of the LS Cable India Pvt. Ltd. also exhibited its products at Elecrama 2020. The company also introduced its range of recently launched building wires. These are BIS Certified and Fire Resistant Low Smoke Halogen (FRLSH) wires. Indian wire industry is dominated by few players such as KEI Industries Ltd., RR Kabel, Polycab India Ltd., Finolex Cables Ltd., and Havells. It will be interesting to see how LS Cable places its wires and makes its space in this highly competitive market.
