Cabinet Approves INR 1,810 Cr Investment in Luhri Hydro Power Project

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved funds of Rs. 1810 Crore for Luhri Stage-1 Hydro-Power Project on Satluj river in Shimla and Kullu Districts, Himachal Pradesh on 4th November 2020.

It is a 210 MW project which will be implemented by Mini Ratna PSU Sutlej Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd. (SJVNL) on Build, Operate, Own and Maintain basis. The project is to be commissioned within 62 months.
