BMRCL Invites Bids for Civil Work at Bangalore Metro’s Airport Depot

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) has invited bids for civil works pertaining to the Airport Depot on Bangalore Metro’s Blue Line. The estimated cost of this project is Rs. 204.68 crore.

This Airport depot, which is also referred to as Doddajala Depot or Shettigere Depot, is a part of Bangalore Metro’s Phase 2B which connects Bangalore city to Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL). This depot will cater to the 57 Km long Blue Line of Bangalore Metro, which connects Central Silk Board Station to KR Puram in Phase 2A of the Bangalore Metro, and then further to KIAL from KR Puram in Phase 2B.

BMRCL had earlier invited bids for the remodelling of the Baiyappanahalli Depot, which will also serve the Blue Line of Bangalore Metro.

Last date to submit bids for this project is 29th October 2022, and the completion period for the project has been stated as 548 days.
