Bids Invited for Mumbai Metro’s Mogharpada Depot

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has invited bids for developing Mumbai Metro‘s Mogharpada Depot under Package CA-160 at an estimated cost of Rs. 711.34 crore. This depot will be serving Mumbai Metro’s Line 4 and Line 4A.

Scope of work as per the tender documents entails the construction of a stabling yard, an operations control centre and an administrative building. Maintenance buildings, workshops for the metro coaches and staff quarters will also be constructed. An auxiliary substation will be developed for the Mogharpada depot.

Architectural finishing works, plumbing works, development of drainage systems and underground utility ducts, construction of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) associated with the depot also fall under the scope of work of this project. Moreover, landscaping works, including the construction of compound wall, road approach, bridge connecting to the depot and earthworks for land development are included in the scope of the tender document. Design and construction of car depot at Mogharpada for Line 4 and Line 4 A, along with architectural finishings is included in this project.

Period of completion for this project is 36 months, and the last date for submission of bids is 12th December 2022.
