Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL), the largest Indian Govt controlled engineering company, informed stock exchanges that is has signed an MoU with Russian Rosoboronexport JSC for cooperation and undertaking joint defence systems’ projects.
The MoU signed during the India Russia Military Industrial conference held in Lucknow would help BHEL to leverage it’s defence sector related capabilities as well as partner with Russian OEMs under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. Indian defence forces could benefit from indigenous solutions and locally available support.
