Bajaj Electricals Q3 FY-25 Financials, Revenue Jumps 5%, PAT Grows 11% YoY

Bajaj Electricals Ltd. [NSE: BAJAJELEC, BOM: 500031], the Mumbai-based manufacturer of electrical consumer goods, has announced its financial results for Q3 of FY-25.

YoY Comparison of Bajaj Electricals’ Numbers: Q3 FY-25 vs. Q3 FY-24

On a Year-over-Year (YoY) basis, the company’s top line was up by 5% to Rs. 1,289.72 crore during Q3 FY-25 from its Rs. 1,228.24 crore revenue, clocked for Q3 of FY-24. Bajaj Electricals’ Q3 PAT decreased by 10.71% YoY to Rs. 33.36 crore in FY-25 from Rs. 37.36 crore in FY-24.

The company’s Earnings Per Share (EPS) stood at Rs. 2.89 during Q3 of FY-25 against Rs. 3.25 during Q3 of FY-24.
QoQ Analysis of Bajaj Electricals’ Financials: Q3 FY-25 vs. Q2 FY-25
Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ), Bajaj’s revenue from operations grew by 15.33% from Rs. 1,118.33 crore, which was logged during Q2 of FY-25. Bajaj Electricals’ PAT in Q3 FY-25 grew to 2.59 times of the company’s Q2 FY-25 PAT of Rs. 12.90 crore.

Consumer Products: The company’s revenue from this business segment jumped to Rs. 1,038.45 crore during Q3 of FY-25 from Rs. 956.66 crore during Q3 of FY-24. This represents a YoY increase of 8.55% in the company’s segmental revenue.
During the company’s earnings call for its Q3 FY-25 financials, Mr. EC Prasad, CFO of Bajaj Electricals said that the consumer product segment has shown strong growth because of high demand of products during festive season. He added, “domestic appliances have shown strong growth, owing to categories like coolers and heaters, which showed high double-digit growth”.
Lighting Solutions: Bajaj’s Lighting Solutions segment quarterly revenue decreased by 7.48% to Rs. 251.27 crore during Q3 of FY-25 from Rs. 271.58 crore in Q3 of FY-24.
Commenting on this segment, Mr. Shekhar Bajaj, Chairman of Bajaj Electricals said “The Lighting Solutions business revenue contracted by 7.5% due to price erosion”.
Mr. EC Prasad said that the company reported an order book of Rs. 231 crore in its professional lighting segment.
