Atal Solar Forays into Solar Module Manufacturing with New Plant
Atal Solar Private Limited, headquartered in Rajkot, Gujarat, has announced plans to set up its first solar module manufacturing plant in Rajkot. The company will invest Rs. 125 crore in the development of this new plant.
The company’s upcoming plant will have an annual production capacity of 1 GW of solar power modules. Atal Solar will primarily focus on producing TOPCon solar power modules at its new Rajkot plant. The plant is expected to begin operations in December 2025.
Atal Solar has already placed an order for the manufacturing line equipment with SC Solar. This new plant will incorporate advanced automation technologies, including robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), vision systems, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), to enhance efficiency and production quality.
Commenting on this development, Mr. Prayag Vansjaliya, Managing Director of Atal Solar, said, “We will be using advanced automation and quality systems that work well with both current and future module types”.
