Apollo Micro Systems Secures Land for Manufacturing Weapons Integration Systems

Apollo Micro Systems Ltd. (AMS), a major defence products manufacturer, has been allotted over five acres of land at the Industrial Park TSIIC–Hardware Park Phase-II in Hyderabad by the Government of Telangana. The allotted land will be utilised for the establishment of a defence products manufacturing facility, involving an estimated capital investment of Rs. 300 crore.

At its upcoming manufacturing plant in Hyderabad, Apollo Micro Systems will undertake the manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of various advanced weapon system platforms. Scope of operations at this facility will include systems such as grad rockets, anti-submarine warfare rockets, anti-tank mines, artillery munitions, and other similar weapon systems.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Karunakar Reddy, Managing Director of Apollo Micro Systems, said, “This expansion reflects our commitment to enhancing indigenous manufacturing capabilities, driving technological innovation, and meeting the growing demand in the defence sector”.
