APCO Infratech L1 Bidder for Rs. 2,030 Cr. Bridge Construction Contract in Maharashtra
APCO Infratech Private Ltd. has been declared as Lowest (L1) bidder for constructing 4-lane bridge between Madh Island and Versova in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This bridge will be 1.53 Km in length and the company had bid Rs. 2,029.80 crore for this project.
Scope of work in this project includes designing and constructing a cable stayed bridge between K-W municipal ward in Madh Island and P-N municipal ward in Versova. The viaduct’s length will be approximately 725 m on the Versova-end and approximately 325 m on the Madh Island-end. This 27.45 m wide bridge will consist of 1.5 m footpath (sidewalk) on either side of bridge.
Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai had invited bids for this contract in March 2024 with an estimated cost of Rs. 1,800 crore and 3-year completion period.
This bridge will further be connected to the 22.95 Km-long Versova-Dahisar Coastal road project which is being developed in Mumbai’s western suburbs.
