Alstom Wins Rs. 219.59 Cr. Delhi Metro Silver Line’s Signaling Contract

Alstom Transport India has been awarded with train-control and signaling contract worth Rs. 219.59 crore by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). The contract is for Delhi Metro Silver line’s package DS06 which is 23.622 Km in length and connects Aerocity to Tughalakabad Corridor of Phase-IV Delhi Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS).

Scope of work in this package includes designing, manufacturing, supplying, and installing of train control and signaling system. Following this testing and commissioning of this project will be carried out under the package. Alstom’s Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) system will be employed for the execution of this project. Indigenous Automatic Train Supervision System (i-ATS) which has been jointly developed by DMRC and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) will also be employed for this project along with Alstom’s Automatic Train Control System (ATS).

This upcoming route will consist of 16 stations.
