Adani to Set up Wind Projects worth USD 442 Mn. in Sri Lanka
Adani Group will invest USD 442 million (approximately Rs. 3,450 crore) to set up two wind power plants in Sri Lanka. A Letter of Approval (LoA) has been issued to Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), part of Adani Group, by the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka for these projects.
These power plants will have a total capacity of 450 Megawatt (MW), out of which a 350 MW wind project will be developed in Mannar and a 100 MW project will be developed at Pooneryn.
The completion period for these power plants is 2 years.
