Diamond Power Appoints Mr. Kundip S. Thakker as CFO
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has appointed Mr. Kundip Thakker as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP).
Mr. Thakker, a Cost & Management Accountant from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), holds an MBA in Finance from Tolani Institute of Management Studies, Gujarat (1997-1999). Further, he has also completed a post-graduation certification program for emerging CFOs from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore.
He brings over 26 years of experience in finance roles with major companies, including Reliance Industries Ltd., ABB, AGC Networks Limited (now known as Black Box Limited), Blue Star Limited, and Stelmec Limited. Across these firms, he oversaw financial management, strategic planning, fundraising, digitisation, finance transformation, banking relationships, and cost optimization.
Notably, in his decade-long tenure as Head – Treasury & Shared Services (P2P) at Blue Star Limited, Mr. Thakker handled large-scale treasury operations, including managing ₹6,000 crore in banking limits and securing ₹1,000 crore QIP in September 2023. Before his latest appointment, he served as CFO of Stelmec Limited from June 2024 to October 2026.
His leadership roles have earned him multiple accolades, including CFO of the Year (2025), Finance Leader of the Year (2025), and Best Treasurer of the Year (2024).
