Fujiyama Power Systems Commissions Solar Panel Manufacturing Plant in MP

Fujiyama Power Systems Limited, one of India’s major providers of rooftop solar solutions, has commissioned a new solar panel manufacturing facility in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. The company shared this information in its recent stock exchange filing.

Fujiyama’s Plant to Have 2 GW Solar Panel Manufacturing Capacity

Fujiyama Power’s new manufacturing facility in Ratlam has an initial manufacturing capacity of 1,000 MW of solar panels under a single-shift operation. Although the initial capacity is lesser, the plant has been designed for a planned manufacturing capacity of 2,000 MW for solar panels.

The new facility is expected to achieve full capacity utilisation by Q4 FY27.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Pawan Kumar Garg, Chairman and Joint Managing Director of Fujiyama, said, “This greenfield project strengthens our ability to serve the rapidly growing domestic rooftop solar market with higher manufacturing scale, improved operational efficiencies and greater control across the value chain”.

With the commissioning of this new solar panel manufacturing facility, Fujiyama’s total solar panel manufacturing capacity will increase to 3,568 MW by Q4 FY27.

Fujiyama’s Ratlam Plant to Also Manufacture Batteries and Inverters

According to Fujiyama’s stock exchange filing, apart from manufacturing solar panels, the new Ratlam facility will also manufacture batteries and inverters.

The company is expected to commence inverter manufacturing at the new plant in the first quarter of FY27. The requisite machinery for inverter manufacturing has already been received at the facility.

Further, machinery orders for the battery manufacturing line have already been placed, and commissioning of the battery manufacturing unit is expected in the second quarter of FY27.

Fujiyama’s Existing Manufacturing Footprint Across India
