Ajay Saraf Appointed Orient Electric’s Switchgear & Wires BU Head

Orient Electric Limited has appointed Mr. Ajay Saraf as Business Unit (BU) head for Switchgear and Wires business segment.

Mr. Ajay Saraf has 3 decades of experience spanning various aspects of management, digital transformation, sales, marketing, Profit & Loss management, and business turnaround. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has completed a program in General Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata (IIM-C). Additionally, he pursued a Senior Leadership Program from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Before his appointment as the Business Unit (BU) Head of Orient Electric, Mr. Saraf held key leadership roles in several organizations. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Legero India (Lighting), Executive President at Kingspan (India & South Asia), and Senior Vice President at Panasonic Life Solutions. Earlier in his career, he was also associated with Havells India and Philips India.
