India’s Defence Exports reach Rs. 23,622 Cr. in FY-25

India’s defence exports during FY-25 amounted to Rs. 23,622 crore. This marks a record high, exhibiting over 12% growth YoY. Out of this, private sector exported Rs. 15,233 crore worth of defence equipment, 159% higher than FY-24. Defence PSUs exported Rs. 8,389 crore of equipment, which is 43% higher than previous financial year.
Looking ahead, Government has set a target of exporting Rs. 50,000 crore of defence equipment annually by 2029.
