JSW Energy Appoints Mr. Feby Koshy as its Executive Vice-President

JSW Energy Ltd. has appointed Mr. Feby Koshy as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Head of its Thermal business, and Senior Management Personnel of the Company. This information was shared by the company in its stock filing dated 27th December 2024.

Mr. Koshy completed his B.E in Mechanical Engineering in 1990 from Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mysore and he further pursued Master of Business Administration in Project Management in 2012 from Sikkim Manipal University.

Mr. Koshy has over 32 years of experience in the power sector and started his career with BSES Power Limited as Deputy Manager in 1991 and worked there for over 6 years. Later in 1997, he joined JSW Energy Ltd., and served as the company’s General Manager (Projects) for a little less than 13 years. He was also the technical head of JSW Energy’s 1,200 MW greenfield power project at the company’s Ratnagiri plant. Mr. Koshy joined GMR Energy Ltd. in 2010 as General Manager (Business Development). After GMR Energy, Mr. Koshy joined IL&FS Energy Development Company Ltd. (IEDCL) in 2011 as Senior Vice President and later was promoted to the post of Chief Executive Officer in 2020.
