Kalpataru Projects & Intl. Subsidiaries Win 2,273 Cr. of Orders

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL), its Joint Ventures (JVs) and international subsidiaries have secured orders collectively worth Rs. 2,273 crore in India and overseas. This information was shared by Kalpataru Projects in its stock filing dated 13th November 2024.

Aforementioned Transmission & Distribution (T&D) orders have been secured in India and abroad. However, Kalpataru’s release has not specified any details and location of these orders.

Apart from the above mentioned T&D orders, Kalpataru’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) business has secured residential building projects in India.

Commenting on the company’s T&D orders win, Mr. Manish Mohnot, MD & CEO, KPIL said “Our order book continues to strengthen with significant traction in the T&D business, particularly in India”. Mr. Mohnot added that with these orders, the company’s Year-to-Date (YTD) order inflow stands at approximately Rs. 14,000 crore. More importantly, he highlighted that 56% of the order intake to date is from the company’s T&D business.

In its investor presentation for Q2 FY25, KPIL mentioned that its consolidated order book stood at Rs. 60,631 crore as on 30th September 2024. Out of this, KPIL’s T&D business accounted for 37%, while its B&F business contributed 22%. KPIL’s water business accounted for 17% of the total order book, and its Oil & Gas business made up 14%. The remaining 10% of KPIL’s consolidated order book came from the company’s railways and urban infrastructure businesses. This data shows that the company’s T&D business remains the major contributor to the order book.
