YFC Projects – BBG Infrastructure JV Only Bidder for Nagpur Metro Contract
YFC Projects Pvt. Limited – BBG Infrastructure Private Limited Joint Venture (JV) has emerged as the only bidder for the construction works under Package C-09 of the Nagpur Metro Phase 2 project.
Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA-METRO) has estimated the development cost of the project at Rs. 258 crore, although the bidding cost from YFC Projects – BBG Infrastructure JV remains undisclosed.
Scope of work for the winning bidder includes the construction of eight elevated metro stations along Orange Line’s Reach-1A. These stations will be constructed at Ashokvan, Dongargaon, Mohgaon, Meghdoot, CIDCO Butibori Police Station, MHADA Colony, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corp. (MIDC) KEC, and MIDC ESR.
The construction of the viaduct connecting these stations will be handled under Package C-02 of Nagpur Metro Phase-2, for which GR Infraprojects had been awarded the contract in September 2024.
The Phase 2 Metro project of Nagpur Metro consists of two lines: the Orange Line, which is 31.7 km long, and the Aqua Line, spanning 16.6 km. The entire Phase 2 project is expected to be completed by 2026.
