Waaree Wins 300 MW Solar Project Order in Bikaner, Valued at Rs. 345 Cr.
Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL), an India-based engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company specializing in renewable energy projects, has secured an order for the development of a 300 MW ground-mounted solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
According to the company’s press release, the order, valued at over Rs. 345 crore, has been awarded by a ‘prominent domestic renewable energy generation company’.
Scope of work in the order includes engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of the solar project. Additionally, Waaree will be responsible for the development of a 33/220 KV pooling substation. This project will also incorporate advanced robotic cleaning systems aimed at reducing long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) costs.
This project is scheduled to be completed within the current financial year (FY26).
Apart from the above-mentioned project, Waaree has executed solar projects with a cumulative capacity exceeding 2.32 GW. The company is currently engaged in the execution of an additional 3.2 GW of solar power projects across various locations.
