Waaree Renewable Tech. to Set-up Rs. 227 Cr. Solar Power Project

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. (Waaree RTL) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for setting up a 105 MW of ground-mounted solar power project in India. The company will develop this solar power project at an estimated cost of Rs. 277.20 crore. Waaree RTL has not disclosed the identity of the company that has awarded this order.

As per this order, Waaree Renewable Technologies will be responsible for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of the 105 MW solar power project. This project is expected to be completed in FY-26.

Following this order win, the company’s share price also jumped by 2.09%. Waaree Renewable Tech.’s share price stood at Rs. 1,066.20 apiece on the day the company announced this order win against Rs. 1,044.35 apiece on the previous trading day.

The company mentioned in its investor presentation for Q3 FY-25 that Waaree Renewable Tech. has already commissioned 1.82 GW of solar power projects and 3,398 MW of projects are under construction. The recent solar projects win of Waaree Renewable Tech. include development of a 412 MW of solar power project at an estimated cost Rs. 512 crore.
