Waaree Energies to Supply Solar Modules for Engie India’s 200 MW Solar Project

Waaree Energies Limited has won an order from Engie India for the supply of 200 MW solar modules for a solar power project which is being developed at Sayla village in the Surendra Nagar district of Gujarat.

Waaree Energies will supply its Ahnay brand bifacial solar modules of 545 Watt peak (Wp) generation capacity each for Engie’s solar project. This project is expected to generate 34 crore units of power every year. Waaree Energies is expected to begin supply of the modules from November 2023 and is likely to complete the supply by February 2024.

Engie India has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a period of 25 years with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) for the 200 MW solar project.
