VE Commercial Vehicles to Supply 1000 Electric Buses to GreenCell Mobility

VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV), a Joint Venture (JV) between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GreenCell Mobility Private Ltd. for supply of electric buses. VECV will supply 1,000 electric buses to GreenCell Mobility in the coming five years.

As per the agreement, VECV will supply 1,000 Eicher electric buses to NueGo, GreenCell’s intercity bus business. NueGo is currently operating in more than 30 cities in India including Chandigarh, Delhi, Bhopal, Indore, and Agra.
