UPMRC Invites Bids for MRTS project at Kanpur

The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has invited bids for Kanpur Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS).

Kanpur Metro is an urban MRTS under construction with 2 lines & 30 stations in the city of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Scope of work of the tender involves ‘design and construction of TBM tunnel, cut and cover tunnel, underground ramp from Kanpur Central end of Nayaganj station to elevated ramp after Transport Nagar and three underground metro stations viz. Kanpur Central, Jhakarkatti and Transport Nagar’, as per tender issued by UPMRC.

The timeline for completion of work is 36 months at an estimated cost of Rs 1,250 crore. Last date for submission of tender is 1st September 2021.
