UltraTech Cement Appoints Mr. Jayant Dua as Managing Director
UltraTech Cement Ltd. announced the appointment of Mr. Jayant Dua as its Managing Director (Designate) and Senior Management Personnel with effect from 1st April 2026.
Mr. Dua comes from a rich educational background, having completed B.Tech in Chemical from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1987. Going forward, he completed Post Graduate Program in International Management (PGPIM) from International Management Institute (IMI) Delhi in 2009. Also, Mr Dua went to Harvard Business School for Advanced Management Program (AMP) in 2009.
Sepaking of Mr. Dua’s working background, he brings with him 37 years of experience, where he primarily worked with Aditya Birla Group. He started as Joint Executive President for cement business at Grasim Ind. Ltd., i.e., a part of Aditya Birla Group, in 1996. From thereon, he held multiple leadership roles across Aditya Birla Group’s various businesses.
His last role before appointment as MD of UltraTech was Business Head (Textiles) for Aditya Birla Group, which he joined in October 2023. Furthermore, Mr. Dua’s previous leadership roles with Aditya Birla Group companies, such as Chlor Alkali Business, Aditya Birla Renewables Ltd., among others, are expected to solidify his leadership position at UltraTech Cement.
