TVS ILP to Develop Warehouse in Tamil Nadu for First Solar

TVS Industrial and Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) has recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to set up a warehouse in Pillaipakkam, Tamil Nadu. This warehouse will provide support to solar technology and manufacturing company, namely, First Solar Power India Private Limited.

TVS Industrial’s warehouse will cover an area of about 5,70,000 lakh square feet and will store raw materials and machinery for First Solar. The construction work for this facility is expected to be completed by the first quarter of CY 2024.

Commenting on the development of this warehouse, Mr. Manikandan Ramachandran, Chief Operating Officer of TVS ILP said, “This strategic location is intended to reduce the time, inventory, and space utilization costs within the First Solar factory”.
