Tata Power Bags Order to Develop 110 MW Solar Power Project
Indian electric utility company, Tata Power Limited has won an order worth Rs 488 Cr from Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd (KSEB) to develop a 110 MW Solar Power Project in Kerala.
On 6th January 20201, Tata Power received a letter of award (LoA) from KSEB.
Electricity generated from the plant shall be supplied to KSEB under a power purchase agreement (PPA) valid for a period of 25 years from the scheduled commercial operation date. The plant is expected to generate about 274 million units of energy per year.
Timeline for commissioning this project is 18 months from date of executing the PPA.
