Tapping India’s Power Infra Boom: Lumino Industries Rolls Out ₹700-Cr IPO

Lumino Industries Limited, a manufacturer of power cables and electrical wires, is set to launch its Rs. 700 crore Initial Public Offering (IPO).
The IPO will open for subscription on 27th August 2026 and close on 31st August 2026.
IPO Price Band Set at Rs. 78–82 Per Share
Investors can bid for Lumino Industries’ shares in the price band of Rs. 78 to Rs. 82 per share. Each share has a face value of Rs. 5. The lot size has been fixed at 182 shares, requiring a minimum investment of Rs. 14,924 at the upper end of the price band.
The issue comprises a fresh issue of 6.10 crore shares aggregating to Rs. 500 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 2.44 crore shares worth Rs. 200 crore.
IPO Proceeds to Fund Debt Repayment and Capital Expenditure
Out of the Rs. 500 crore raised through the fresh issue, Rs. 337 crore will be used for the prepayment or repayment of debt, while the remaining Rs. 163 crore will be utilised for capital expenditure.
The capital expenditure will include the purchase of new equipment and machinery, civil works and interior development for the company’s ongoing plant expansion in West Bengal.
Unlike the fresh issue, the Rs. 200 crore raised through the offer for sale will not accrue to Lumino Industries. The proceeds will go to the selling shareholders, Devendra Goel and Jay Goel, who are offering part of their existing shareholding.
Lumino Industries’ Manufacturing and EPC Operations
Incorporated in 2005, Lumino Industries is an integrated EPC company engaged in the manufacturing and supply of conductors, power cables, electrical wires and specialised products for the power transmission and distribution industry. The company also manufactures High-Temperature Low-Sag (HTLS) conductors, which are used in transmission and distribution lines.
Lumino Industries operates two manufacturing facilities in Howrah, West Bengal, and is currently expanding its manufacturing capacity in the state. The proposed capital expenditure will support the expansion through the addition of equipment and machinery, along with civil and interior development work.
For FY26, Lumino Industries reported revenue of Rs. 2,041.07 crore and Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 160 crore.
