Sterlite Technologies Launches ‘Estelan’ End-to-End Network Cabling Solutions
Sterlite Technologies Ltd. (STL), a major Indian Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) manufacturer, has launched ‘Estelan’, which is a portfolio of end-to-end networking cabling solutions. Estelan has been launched at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) 2023, which is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 16th to 20th October 2023.
STL’s Estelan Offers OFC & Copper Cable Connectivity Solutions
Estelan comprises an entire range of connectivity solutions designed for enterprises. These include products for OFC networks as well as for copper cable-based networks.
Cable products offered by STL Tech’s Estelan include single-mode optical fibre and Optimised Multimode 3 (OM3) optical fibre cables, unshielded CAT6 and CAT6A ethernet cables and fan-out cables. Other than this, Estelan range includes patch cords and panels, networking modules, keystone jacks, jack panels, faceplates and other allied accessories.
Speaking at the launch of Estelan, Mr. Gavin Faulds, Regional Sales Head, APAC and MEA, Sterlite Technologies Ltd., said, “Through Estelan, we offer customised end-to-end enterprise connectivity solutions that are optimised for their specific business needs. Estelan to Provide Over 1,000 MHz Bandwidth & 10 Gbps Data Transmission Rate
In its press release dated 16th October 2023, Sterlite Tech mentioned that Estelan will offer bandwidths exceeding 1,000 MHz, and data transmission speed of 10 Gbps. The newly launched connectivity solution is scalable and can be customised as per requirement. The company stated that this would make Estelan a proper fit for industries such as healthcare, oil & gas, banking, retail and education.
Estelan, which currently is targeted at markets in India and the Middle East provides “multi-service premise connectivity, enterprise networking, Wi-Fi, surveillance, Intelligent building management and Power over Ethernet for up to 90W applications”.
STL further stated that Estelan is Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS), Electrical Testing Laboratories (ETL), Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certified.
