Sterlite Power Secures Orders worth 7,000 Cr. in FY24, 2,500 Cr. in Q4 FY-24

Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd. (SPTL) has secured orders collectively worth Rs. 2,500 crore during Q4 of FY-24. These order have been secured by the company’s Global Products and Services (GPS) vertical. The company’s GPS vertical deals with manufacturing and supplying of power conductors, cables and Optical Ground Wires (OPGW). With these wins, the company’s total order wins during FY24 has reached Rs. 7,000 crore.

Some major orders of the company during Q4 of FY-24 include supply of conductors for Renewable Energy (RE) power transmission projects in Rajasthan, including the Fatehgarh-Bhadla Transmission line project. Additionally, the company won multiple orders to supply Extra High Voltage (EHV) and High Voltage (HV) cables for large-scale infrastructure projects in Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Odisha, and Gujarat during Q4 of FY-24.

Further, the company has secured export orders in the Middle East, Americas, EU and Africa. Sterlite Power has also won export orders for OPGW in Africa and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) during the closing quarter of FY-24.

Commenting on these order wins, Mr. Pratik Agarwal, Managing Director, Sterlite Power, said “We are seeing a substantial increase in demand for our specialized high-performance conductors and underground cables as nations invest in stronger, higher-capacity transmission grids.”
