Sterling & Wilson Renewable wins 2 Projects, L1 Bidder for a 200 MW Solar Project

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has secured a hybrid power project and a solar power project in Rajasthan, and also has been declared as Lowest (L1) bidder for a solar power project in Gujarat. Taken together, these three projects have a development cost of Rs. 1,470 crore.

In Rajasthan, the company will be setting up a hybrid power project. Scope of work in this project includes Balance of Plant (BoP) works for 69.3 MW of wind power component and Balance of System (BoS) works for 58 MW of solar power component in this hybrid project. The company will also set up 132 KV / 33 KV pooling substation for this hybrid power project.

Apart from this hybrid project, SWREL has also received a Letter of Award (LoA) for a solar plant from a domestic Independed Power Producer (IPP). This project will be developed in Rajasthan, however the company did not provide the particular development cost or any further details of this solar power project.

In Gujarat, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy has emerged as L1 bidder for developing a 200 MW solar power project.
