Skipper Reports Order Inflow of Rs. 1,251 Cr. in Q1 of FY-24

Skipper Ltd., a Kolkata-based Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) manufacturer, has reported an order inflow of Rs. 1,215 crore in Q1 of FY-24. The company stated in its stock filing dated 10th August 2023 that its order book stood at Rs. 5,372 crore as of 30th June 2023.

Domestic orders account for 76% of the order inflow while 26% is contributed by exports. Further, internal T&D business contributed 26% of company’s order book. In the first quarter of FY-24, the company reported revenue of Rs. 554.6 crore while Skipper clocked a revenue of Rs. 416.1 crore in Q1 of FY-23.

Commenting on this development, Mr. Sharan Bansal, Director of Skipper Limited, said, “The company witnessed a remarkable 33% growth in revenue over the previous year’s quarter”.
