SECI Floats Tender to Develop 2,000 MW Hybrid Projects in India

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has floated a tender for the development of windsolar hybrid power projects of 2,000 MW collective capacity in India. Successful bidders for this tender will be selected through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB).

The power developers can quote bids for developing a minimum of 50 MW hybrid power generation capacity and a maximum of 1,000 MW capacity. Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) will be signed for a period of 25 years.

Projects will have to be commissioned within 24 months from the date of signing of PPAs. Last date for submission of bids for this tender is 4th December 2023.
