Sarit Maheshwari Appointed NTPC Green’s New CEO

NTPC Green Energy has appointed Mr. Sarit Maheshwari as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Maheshwari completed graduation in Mechanical Engineering in 1990 from Aligarh Muslim University. He then pursued Masters of Business Administration in accounting and finance in 1991 from Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad. He also holds a M.Tech degree in Power, which he earned in 1999 from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Mr. Sarit Maheshwari has over 34 years of working experience with NTPC, beginning his journey with the company in 1990. He was elevated to the position of Senior Manager in 2005, and in 2009, he was promoted to Deputy General Manager. He served Deputy General Manager position for over five years. In the following years, he went on to hold several prominent positions in NTPC, including Additional General Manager, General Manager at NTPC’s Talcher thermal power station, and Business Unit Head at NTPC Korba.

Currently, Mr. Maheshwari is also serving as Chief Executive Officer of NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd.
