Sahasra Semiconductors to Invest Rs. 750 Crore in Bhiwadi for Semiconductor ATMP Plant

Sahasra Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd. (SSPL) will be investing Rs. 750 crore to set up a Semiconductor Assembly, Testing, Marking and Packaging (ATMP) unit at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.

Out of the total amount, the company will be investing Rs. 150 crore in FY-23 to set up this facility in Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA) manufacturing cluster, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.

As per the company, this new facility will be operational by October 2022. The remaining Rs. 600 crore from the total investment amount will be invested once the revenue generated from the ATMP plant reaches a revenue range of Rs. 250 crore to Rs. 300 crore.

SSLP’s proposal to set up this ATMP unit was approved by the Indian Government under Scheme for Promotion of Manufacturing of Electronic Components and Semiconductors (SPECS) of Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme.
