Saatvik Solar’s New Solar Cell & Module Manufacturing Plant in Odisha
Saatvik Solar Industries Pvt. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saatvik Green Energy Ltd., has commenced construction of its new solar cell and module manufacturing plant in Odisha. This facility will have the capacity to manufacture 4.8 GW of solar cells and 4 GW of solar modules every year.
Saatvik Solar’s new plant in Odisha will be developed over an area of 57 acres. This project is being developed at Gopalpur Industrial Park in Ganjam District of Odisha. The company expects to begin production of solar modules at its new plant by the end of FY26, while the manufacturing of solar cells will be commissioned by the end of FY27.
Commenting on this development, Mr. Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy, said, “Our focus is on ensuring we remain at the forefront of solar energy production and EPC solutions and continue to meet the growing demands of both domestic and international markets”.
Apart from the aforementioned plant, the company is also expanding its module manufacturing capacity at its facility in Ambala, Haryana, by 1 GW per annum. Currently, this plant has a capacity of 3.8 GW per annum. This new capacity addition is expected to be completed in Q1 of FY26.
