Rithwik Projects L1 Bidder for Mumbai Metro Depot Construction Contract
Rithwik Projects Pvt. Ltd. has emerged as Lowest (L1) bidder for construction of Dongari Depot of Mumbai Metro’s Red Line under package CA-207. The company had submitted a bid of Rs. 733.34 crore against tender cost of Rs. 639.38 crore.
According to the tender, winning bidder will be responsible for land development and construction for a car depot at Dongri for Metro Line 9, Line 7 and Line 7A (Red Line) of the Mumbai Metro Rail Project. The depot will cover approximately 41.36 hectare and will include an operation control center, depot control center, administrative building, stabling yard, underground utility duct, maintenance and inspection building, receiving substation, two auxiliary substations and other associated structures. Scope of work also includes architectural finishing, plumbing, and Pre-engineered Building (PEB) works. Dongri depot will also include a 690 m long test track with platforms.
Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s (MMRDA) tender specified a completion period of 52 months (approximately 4 years and 4 months) for this project.
