Mitsubishi Launches New HMI Controller in India

Mitsubishi Electric India, a major electronics and industrial automation manufacturer has launched a new Human Machine Interface (HMI) controller in India. Mitsubishi is calling it advanced Graphic Operation Controller, model name GOC43. Interestingly this device has been designed and developed in India by Mistubishi’s Factory Automation & Industrial Division at its’ R&D centre in Pune, Maharashtra. It will be completely manufactured in India.

Areas of application

Mitsubishi’s GOC43 is compatible with most of the automation systems making it a viable option for pharmaceuticals, HVAC, automotives, textiles, manufacturing etc. units. It has compact design and ability to withstand harsh conditions making it suitable for industrial automation use.

On the occasion of the launch Mr. Hisahiro Nishimoto, Business Unit Head, Factory Automation & Industrial Division, Mitsubishi Electric India, said, “GOC43 will fulfill the automation needs of various industries in India. We will keep striving to develop and manufacture high-quality products like GOC43, keeping in mind our Indian customers, and their business growth needs”.

Configuration and Features

GOC43 by Mitsubishi can be controlled through a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), DCS (Distributed Control System) or annunciator panel for configuration. Some of its distinguishing features are as follows:

  • GOC43 comes with a large memory to handle complex programs and provides an interactive display.
  • 4.3 inch Touch-screen, 64K colour LCD with an IP65 front panel
  • Multi-language support which helps to operate the machines easily, including Hindi, English, German, Italian etc.
  • It supports various protocols like Modbus, RTU, EtherNet/IP etc. offering seamless connectivity with various industrial devices required in digitization projects.
