Mitsubishi Electric to Set Up Rs 220 Crore Factory in Pune
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation will invest Rs 220 crore through its Indian subsidiary, Mitsubishi Electric India, to set up a new factory near Pune, Maharashtra.
The company will manufacture inverters and other factory automation (FA) control system products at the new factory, which will begin operations in December 2023. This two-storeyed factory will have a built-up area of 15,400 sq m, and will be constructed on a 40,000 sq m land parcel.
The factory will also take steps to minimise its carbon dioxide emissions by using efficient air conditioning and lighting technologies.
