L&T’s Hydrocarbon Business Wins Order Worth 1,000 – 2,500 Cr.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Hydrocarbon business, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH), has won an order from Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (CFCL) worth a total value between Rs. 1,000 crore to Rs. 2,500 crore. The company has secured this order under its Advanced Value Engineering and Technology (AdVENT) business vertical.

Scope of work in this project comprises licence plus EPC order of a Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) plant and Weak Nitric Acid (WNA) plant at Gadepan village of Kota, Rajasthan. Approximate capacities of these plants will be 2,40,000 Metric Tonne Per Annum (MTPA) and 2,10,000 MTPA respectively. A privately owned Swiss company named CASALE S.A will provide technology license to these upcoming plants.
