L&T’s Hydrocarbon Arm Secures Orders Valued Rs. 1,000 Cr.– 2,500 Cr.

Indian EPC major, Larsen & Toubro’s Hydrocarbon business has secured two offshore orders cumulatively valued between Rs. 1,000 crore and Rs. 2,500 crore. As per the company’s press release dated 28th November 2022, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH) has secured these orders.

The first order entails decommissioning of offshore hydrocarbon facilities of British Gas Exploration and Production India Ltd. (BGEPL), which is a part of Shell plc Group of Companies. LTEH will be removing 5 offshore Wellhead Platforms at the Tapti field. Associated Engineering, Preparation, Removal and Transportation works fall under LTEH’s scope of work in this project.

LTEH’s second order is from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for its Pipeline Replacement Project-VI Project (PRP-VI). Scope of work of LTEH in this order includes laying about 42 Km subsea pipeline for ONGC’s offshore hydrocarbon assets along the western coast of India.
