L&T Secures Transmission, Substation Orders Worth Rs. 2,500 – 5,000 Cr.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a major Indian EPC player, has secured orders in India and overseas worth a total value between Rs. 2,500 to 5,000 crore. These orders have been won by L&T’s Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business.

In India, Power T&D business of the company has won orders under Revamped Reforms Based and Result-Linked Distribution Sector Scheme in Gujarat. The company has secured orders from a DISCOM of Gujarat, which involves the development of distribution infrastructure in three districts of Gujarat’s southern region.

Further, in Saudi Arabia, L&T has been awarded two orders for the development of 380 KV overhead transmission lines that will connect important cities situated on the Red Sea coast. In addition, the company has secured another order to design, supply and construct a 380 KV substation in central region of Saudi Arabia.
