L&T Secures Orders Worth Rs.1,000-2,500 Cr. in T&D Sector

Larsen & Toubro has secured multiple EPC orders in power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business in India worth a total value between Rs. 1,000 crore to Rs. 2,500 crore. The company has won these orders in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan. This information was given by L&T in its press release dated 31st March 2023.

These orders include the development of a 765 KV and a 400 KV Gas Insulated Substations (GIS) at the upcoming Khavda Renewable Energy (RE) zone in Gujarat.

Further, the business has secured an order to establish GIS and Air Insulated substations (AIS) of 765 KV at the upcoming RE zone in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.

These substations packages will include installation of bus reactors, gas insulated bus ducts of more than 7 Km in length. Further, these packages will also include installation of protection and automation systems at the contracted substations.

In addition, the company has won an order to construct distribution infrastructure in two DISCOM circles in Rajasthan.
